RIVERSIDE WARBLER Basileuterus rivularis
This large warbler is, like other members of his family, a master songster. He makes his home in dense riverine habitat, scolding passers-by with his harsh call, and regaling females with his serenades. In plumage he is very similar to his close relative the White-browed Warbler, but his head pattern is quite different. The Riverside Warbler isn´t an easy bird to see, but just listening to a male in concert is good enough for me!
