LEAST SANDPIPER Calidris minutilla
The littlest of the Nearctic migrant waders, the Least Peep probably passes through Paraguay in small numbers annually. In addition to the small size the very short legs give it a distinctive jizz. Look for it on the lagoons in the Central Chaco between August and November.
