LONG-TAILED TYRANT Colonia colonus
A handsome flycatcher with remarkably long tail plumes in the male, the Long-tailed Tyrant is often found in loose groups perching high on exposed branches and performing occasional sallies for insects. Females lack the long tail feathers, but be aware of males with broken feathers! Juveniles are similar to females but greyer and lack the white cap of adults.
