FULVOUS WHISTLING-DUCK Dendrocygna bicolor
The least common of the Paraguayan Whistling-ducks, this is a gregarious species with distinctive "fulvous" plumage. They are usually encountered on larger waterways and rivers, though sometimes are found on smaller ponds. Whistling-Ducks are prone to wandering and in flight can often be detected by their wheezy, whistled calls.
