PHEASANT CUCKOO Dromococcyx phasianellus
This is not an easy bird to see! With a huge tail and disproportionately long neck, the Pheasant Cuckoo is an odd-looking bird that skulks in forest undergrowth. You are much more likely to hear the simple whistled call of this bird than to actually see it, though some birds are very responsive to playback.
