If there is one bird that is top of everybody´s "must-see" list when they come to Paraguay its the White-winged Nightjar. Arguably the most beautiful member of its family, males are a sight to behold floating ghost-like through the Paraguayan night. Of the three known localities for this species on earth, two are in Paraguay, so there is no better place to come and look for this magnificent species!
