LAUGHING GULL Leucophaeus atricilla
The indomitable team of Rob Clay and Arne Lesterhuis turned up yet another rarity at Asunción Bay with this individual not only representing the first record for Paraguay, but also one of very few records from inland South America. Gulls are thin on the ground in Paraguay, so any gull is special, but this one is arguably the most special of the bunch!
