ARGENTINE CORAL-SNAKE Micrurus pyrrhocryptus
A drylands coral-snake found principally in arid areas of the Dry Chaco and marginally into the Humid Chaco. Best identified by the habitat preference and the more extensive areas of black couple with two thin yellowish-white bands - note for example that the gap between the yellow bands is more extensive than in other species.
