SILVIA´S CORAL-SNAKE Micrurus silviae
Newly described from neighbouring Brazil and now newly found in San Rafael NP, this is the seventh species of coral snake recorded in Paraguay. Diagnostic characteristics of this species are the middle triad 1.5x the width of the outers, the black-tipped yellowish scales in the bands and the white gular region.
