HOUSE MOUSE Mus musculus
Known the world over, the ubiquitous House Mouse is almost a commensal of man and, as a direct result, an annoying pest species wherever it occurs! This is the animal that gnaws at your bars of soap, breaks into bags of rice and scampers around your bedroom once the light is turned off! Despite the obvious trouble that this species causes, its adaptability is something that should be admired - the species accomapnying man wherever he may roam!
