AMERICAN WOOD STORK Mycteria americana
The Wood Stork is an inhabitant of dense marshes and swamps and flooded fields. His unique feeding method involves walking with his touch sensitive, open bill half-submerged, clamping shut on anything that comes into contact with it. It is the smallest of the three Paraguayan storks.
