SWAINSON´S MYIARCHUS Myiarchus swainsoni
On the list of birds which give birdwatchers most headaches, the Myiarchus flycatchers are second only to the Elaenias! Fortunately the three Paraguayan species have very different vocalisations from each other, a major step towards getting their identity right!. Note the pink mandible and lack of an obvious crest in this species.
