GREENISH ELAENIA Myiopagis viridicata
The Myiopagis elaenias are quite different in shape and behaviour to the true Elaenias, but share the same green and yellowish colouration. The Greenish Elaenia is best identified by its lack of wing-bars, its hidden yellow coronal patch and its distinctive buuur-zeeep call note - though note that the call of the abundant Euler´s Flycatcher is virtually identical!.
