RIVERSIDE MYOTIS Myotis riparius
The Riverside Myotis is a fairly large Myotis with woolly pelage that is generally dark brownish or grey-brown in colour - though there is a rare ochraceous morph. This species is usually found in gallery forest areas where typically it feeds along waterways taking prey from the surface of the water.
