RUSTY-BREASTED NUNLET Nonnula rubecula
This unassuming little puffbird is an easy-overlooked inhabitant of humid forests. Able to sit still for long periods, often the only sign of their presence is the quirt, monotonous whistling call. Nunlets are hole-nesters, preferring to nest in arboreal termitaria.
