LITTLE THORNBIRD Phacellodomus sibilatrix
Scampering about mouse-like on the ground a family of Little Thornbird goes about its daily business. They keep constant contact with thin, lispy calls, quite unlike the loud chatters of their relatives. In fact they don´t look much like other thornbirds at all, you are more likely to confuse them with a Short-billed Canastero in their limited Chaco range.
