4b Forewing largely uniform with discrete dark patches - Eumorpha analis (Rothschild & Jordan 1903)
5a Very large. Forewing costa >60 mm. Hindwing with very broad dark posterior edge. - Eumorpha anchemolus (Cramer 1779)
5b Medium to large. Forewing costa < 60 mm.Hindwing with thin dark posterior edge and several dark parallel lines - Eumorpha megeaceus (Hubner [1819])
Possible species:
Eumorpha adamsi (Rothschild & Jordan, 1903) key to 2a. Then distinguished from E. fasciatus by lack of broad pale diagonal band across forewing.
