TICKING DORADITO Pseudocolopteryx citreola
Recently described, this cryptic species of migrant marsh-dwelling tyrant flycatcher can only be distinguished from the extremely similar Warbling Doradito by its different vocalisations. This species was first detected in Paraguay in September 2010 on a FAUNA Paraguay trip in the humid Chaco, when its scratchy vocalisations were heard in a dense marsh. Playback brought him into view (see FPAVE1783VI)!
