EEL SNAKE Pseudoeryx plicatilis
A rarely recorded and little known snake with a distinctly "fishy" appearance. This is a species of marshy areas and dense reedbeds, where it is a strong swimmer. Its habitat preference also earns it the common name of "Mud Snake" in some quarters.
