Pseudopieris nehemia nehemia (Boisduval 1836)
ENG: Clean Mimic-White
ESP:
Nehmías
JIZ: Medium-small with elongated, rounded forewings. Hindwing large and rounded. Antennae long and downcurved, abdomen elongated and legs long. No sexual dimorphism. Poses with wings folded. FLI: Fluttery and weak at low height.
UPP: (Fig 1-2) Uniformly white with slight black edging to apex of forewing.
UND:  (Fig 1-2)
Forewing mostly white, yellower towards apex and thinly along costal and outer margins. Hindwing pale greenish-yellow with wing veins prominent, though uniformly-coloured. Large discal cell of hindwing somewhat pointed on outer edge and often with an indistinctly darker spot.
BOD: Upperside of head blackish-brown. Upper thorax black. Upper abdomen white with yellowish-brown medial line. Antennae black. Eyes pale grey. Proboscis black, basally whitish.
MMT: A medium-small white Dismorphiid. No measurements of Paraguayan specimens available. Canals (2003) gives a  CL of 22mm.
SSP:
Initially confusing, but once recognised as a Dismorphiid it is probably unmistakeable, it is the only member of the subfamily with such uniformly white colouration. Male Glutophrissa drusilla is similar in colouration but quite different in shape. Note the long, rounded wings, long, downcurved antennae, elongated abdomen and long legs of this species. Furthermore the underwing has a distinctly greenish tone and lacks the yellow basal spot of Glutophrissa.

ABU: Uncommon.
HAB: Open areas, grasslands, edge of humid forest.
HOS: Plants in the family Fabaceae including Acacia and Calliandra. (Canals 2003).
