RED-BREASTED TOUCAN Ramphastos dicolorus ATLANTIC FOREST
A big humid forest toucan, less sociable than other species and usually found alone or in pairs. Strictly speaking it is the belly of this species that is red, not the breast, but that little inaccuracy hasn“t stopped this common name becoming the most widely used. The alternative, Green-billed Toucan is probably better!
