SILVER-BEAKED TANAGER Ramphocelus carbo
This rambunxious tanager is a common sight throughout the Amazon, but Paraguay finds him at the far south of his geographical range. In fact it is only the north of the country that he finds to his liking, and you are especially likely to meet him in the gallery forests along the waterways of the Pantanal where he is a common and charismatic inhabitant.
