YELLOW-BROWED TYRANT Satrapa icterophrys
Perching prominently on fence posts or the tops of low bushes, the boldly-marked Yellow-browed Tyrant keeps careful watch for passing insects. Should one look tasty enough to be worth the effort, he flies out in a wide arc, snapping the insect from the air and returning to his perch to finish his meal. This is a solitary species occurring in dry, open habitats throughout the country. Though frequently encountered he is nowhere common.
