TRANSLUCENT SNOUTED TREE-FROG Scinax fuscomarginatus
A tiny Scinax, never more than 2cm long, this species is characterised by its pointed snout and almost transulecent ventral skin which allows the organs to be visible. It is a species of grassy areas where it sings from low in vegetation overhanging water. Note the dramatic change in appearance between day and night.
