WHITE-COLLARED SWIFT Streptoprocne zonaris
A beast among Paraguayan swifts, this stocky collared monster is easily recognisable by its even, complete white collar and its powerful, rapid, rowing flight. Often in mixed flocks, particularly at or near waterfalls, this is an uncommon species. If your "white-collared" swift seems to have a bib rather than a broad collar then you might want to look a bit more closely to confirm that it isn“t the rarer Biscutate Swift Streptoprocne biscutata.
