WHITE-RUMPED SWALLOW Tachycineta leucorrhoa
One of the commonest small swallows in winter, the White-rumped is a small blue-green swallow with a white rump. It is extremely similar to the Chilean Swallow with only a few subtle differences. Note the white forehead of this species, forming a supercilium of varying length in some individual. Chilean Swallow never shows white on the head!
