Pdf file 223kb

Little known, this bat is widespread but apparently occurs at low density throughout its range and is rarely recorded. It is a large bat that has been classified as a foliage-gleaning insectivore. It does however take small vertebrates occasionally, including birds. Almost nothing is known of the biology of this species.
