EASTERN COLLARED SPINY LIZARD Tropidurus torquatus
The Tropidurus or Spiny Lizards are a group of about 20 species confined to South America which are typical of dry areas. They are shaped somewhat like Agamid Lizards, with flattened bodies and large heads.This species is found in the Orient where it is inhabit scrubby, rocky areas with trees and fence posts - and was formerly considered conspecific with the Western Collared Spiny Lizard.
