PALE-BREASTED THRUSH Turdus leucomelas
A dull thrush with an argumentative nature. In the early breeding season they chase each other around with rapid, low flights calling loudly and occasionally resorting to violent clashes. The most commonly heard call is a raucous chack, but European birders may recognise his song, it is surprisingly similar to that of the European Blackbird Turdus merula.
