LESSER WOODCREEPER Xiphorhynchus fuscus ATLANTIC FOREST
The Lesser Woocreeper is one of the smaller members of family and a frequent member of mixed species understorey flocks. He´s a secretive bird, hard to observe, and rapidly scooting around the other side of a tree-trunk when he becomes aware of an observer. You´ll hear him more than you see him, his typical call a loud, accelerating chatter that sounds like it comes from a much bigger bird.
